Old Home, New Furniture: My Latest Obsessions

While we're knee-deep in the process of remodeling our 1970s home, I couldn't wait to share some sneak peeks of my favorite decor and furniture finds so far. It’s wild how just a night stand or couch can make a house feel more cozy and like home. I can't wait to see how these finds come together as we continue to transform our home!

I searched everywhere for the perfect mid-century modern side tables to add to our bedroom, and voila! Found a set at TJMaxx for $80 each. While I can't provide an online link for my tables, I did find similar options at that same price range. To get the exact tables, try visiting your local TJMaxx in person – happy hunting!

Painted walls, new floors – I was so excited to furnish the living but had no idea it would be such a challenge. We finally landed on Castlery's Owen Chaise Sectional in opal beige. This sectional isn’t as big as couches we’ve had in the past but because of our awkwardly shaped room, it works best for us right now.

The Seb Rectangular coffee table also from Castlery not only nails the mid-century modern vibe but also passes the toddler crash test with those rounded edges – a parenting win!

After searching high and low for the perfect rug, Amazon came in clutch with the softest, washable rug ever. It’s the befbee Washable Rug, 8x10 in Apricot/Blue. Liquid just rolls off, and it’s super easy to vacuum.

I'm really happy with how our house is coming together, and I can't wait to share more of the journey. See more of my favorite home finds here!
